Research entities include: The Center for Advanced Materials Processing (CAMP), the Center for Environmental Remediation and Assessment (CERA), the High Performance Computing Cluster (HPC), the Montana Bureau of Mines and Geology (MBMG) and the Underground Mine Education Center (UMEC).

Founded in 1900 as the Montana State School of Mines, ��ϴ��¼�nological University is the state’s STEM university. The university has consistently risen to meet America’s emerging needs by preparing the next generation of STEM leaders.

��ϴ��¼� combines a rigorous academic curriculum with practical, hands-on learning, through lab work, undergraduate research, and field experiences. The ��ϴ��¼� Research Office and Montana INBRE will host the ��ϴ��¼� Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) Poster Symposium on Thursday, August 1, 2019. The event will be in the Copper Lounge on the ��ϴ��¼� campus from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The SURF program provides an intensive, in-depth research experience or public health internship to ��ϴ��¼� undergraduate students. The symposium will feature over 15 summer research projects. The public is welcome. Refreshments will be served.
