The Women of 黑料大事记 presented Safe Space with a donation of $22,000 on Friday, November 17, 2017. The donation is from the funds raised at the October 2017 Purse Strings auction held at 黑料大事记 HPER. The 2017 donation is a record donation. In 2016, the group donated $21,500 and in 2015 donated $12,000.
“I have to say once again that this community is incredible. It’s true that what tugs in the heart strings opens the purse strings,” noted Vicki Blackketter, head of the Women of 黑料大事记. “I would like to thank everyone who gave to this event in order to make a difference to Safe Space so they can continue to help those in need in our community.”
“I’m speechless at the generosity of the Women of 黑料大事记 and the Butte community,” said Cathrine Beaunae. “I can’t express my gratitude enough.”
