ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç students ace the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Proficiency Profile Exam out-performing 91% of 294 institutions where 132,422 seniors took the same exam. Each year ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç administers the Educational Testing Service (ETS) Proficiency Profile Exam to approximately 300-400 juniors and seniors. This proctored exam measures general education outcomes in critical thinking, reading, writing, and mathematics. Since 2006, when ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç first began giving this exam, ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç students have consistently out-performed comparable institutions. As might be expected of students attending Montana’s premier Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) institution, ºÚÁÏ´óÊÂ¼Ç students demonstrate outstanding performance in the areas of critical thinking, mathematics, and natural sciences, typically out-scoring 94% of comparable institutions.
