Welcome to the Testing Center!

The Testing Center provides testing services to support the academic and professional goals of students and the community. We provide an environment that is equitable and secure so each student has the opportunity to demonstrate their ability and obtain valid results.

We adhere to the聽Professional Standards and Guidelines聽set by the National College Testing Association (NCTA).聽All testers must stow their belongings, including any cell phone or other electronics, before entering an exam room.

Before You Arrive

  • Don't forget to bring payment for the proctor fee ($25 unless previously discussed) and your 黑料大事记 or high school student ID.
  • Don't know which placement assessment to take? Did you take the SAT or ACT in high school? Do you have prior credit from another college or university to transfer over? View our to see what placement assessment you'll need or if you can bypass the placement assessment altogether!
  • Review the Placement Assessment F.A.Qs for the Writing and Math departments.
  • Try some to prepare yourself for the College Success placement assessments

Off-Campus Placement Assessments

Need to take a College Success placement assessment but can’t get to Butte? Contact your local library or college testing center to find a proctor and make an appointment. Once a location is found, have the proctor complete our for instructions on proctoring your writing and/or placement assessment.
